OSU Management
Our Stewardship University is ultimately a grass roots
organization.
As expressed in detail elsewhere, the term Our implies that
WE own and control OSU.
And in order to accomplish this ideal,
there needs to be an interactive system of committees and
sub-committees.
The initial committees are those few and strategic groups
that will immediately get to work.
The production of their initial products and services
will greatly enhance the reservoir of potential benefits
that will be available to future members.
The challenge is to have a flow chart
of how the initial committees are intended to interact.
Also there would be a rough sketch
of the initial goals, objectives and projects for each
committee.
Thus every charter member can:
1) readily
select the committee most suited to their interests,
2) easily
become oriented
3) quickly
begin making valuable contributions.
As Our Stewardship University grows and matures,
the overall workload will increase.
As the operations become more complex,
there will need to be additional committees and
sub-committees.
The aim is to keep these groups manageably small
and to give them a reasonable set of challenges.
Hopefully these will emerge gracefully
as we follow the maxim: form follows function.
What follows is a list of possible initial committees.
Mostly their function is implied in their name.
On other pages there will be the initial suggested
inter-relationships and
the initial goals for each committee.
